Welcome to Air Conditioner Lab!
Thank you for visiting my site. A little bit about me, my name is Josh and I am an HVAC and tech enthusiast. I wanted to create an online resource where I to share what I have learned and help homeowners with their HVAC needs.
I started this website in 2014 and have been improving it ever since. Readers of this site have grown in recent years, and I have added a team to help me bring you quality content that covers all aspects of home heating, cooling and air quality. Read on to find out about each of the valuable members behind this website.
When I started this site my aim was to document my findings on home air conditioners as I knew they were a confusing topic for most people. I have always aimed to do this in an honest and open way. Through sharing my experiences and experimentation, I have determined what I believe to be the best solutions for most people.
As I began expanding this website into heating, air purifiers, and dehumidifiers, I also added some trustworthy team members to help me improve the articles I publish. These guys and girls share the same standards and we are constantly working together to bring you the best recommendations.
The aim of this website is not to make money from readers. We give our opinions and perspectives on products and always provide the good and bad from our testing, researching and experience. If this leads you to buy a product through our links, and we receive a small commission, then be rest assured that any earnings will go back to producing more articles and higher quality content. You can learn more about this here on our disclosure page.

Josh began airconditionerlab.com when he saw an emerging market of home appliances that he wanted to test out. Once he began experimenting with AC’s, heaters, air purifiers and dehumidifiers, he started sharing his findings with others by publishing quality review articles. See all his articles here.
Ian Haynes is a digital marketing specialist, writer, and researcher. He has worked on hundreds of articles relating to home cooling, heating, and air quality with a vast knowledge of the technical aspects of these types of appliances. Outside of his work, Ian likes exploring Brooklyn with his Labrador. See all his articles here.
Holly Curell is a US-based freelance writer and editor and social media whiz who keeps moving further south despite her love of chilly weather. Her work includes technical manuals, blog articles, and more, with a focus on heating and cooling products. When she’s not writing, Holly enjoys reading, hiking, wine, and wandering the aisles of Trader Joe’s. See all her articles here.
