Dean brings a wealth of expertise to ACLAB. With 26 years of military experience, Dean Zoet achieved the rank of E-8 and joined the Top 3% of the Air Force enlisted force. His extensive knowledge as an HVAC/R mechanic includes working with chemicals, ensuring proper safety and disposal techniques, and handling cleanup procedures for accidental spills. Dean set his path to get promoted when he was in the military when he and two engineers developed a flange used to raise two miles of security fence on Altus, Air Force Base, saving the Air Force $1.5M. Post-military, Dean worked as a Supervisor and Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Poet Biorefining, where he identified and corrected environmental permit errors, rewrote the Process Safety Management Program, and maintained compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.

Hobbies
When not working, Dean is an active member of his community in Minnesota. He serves as Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 19 and Vice Commander of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 3842. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Roxanne, his family and friends. You can often find him playing bass guitar or with a Stephen King novel in hand.
