The Hathaspace Smart True HEPA, or the HSP001, is an excellent home accessory for areas of up to 700 square feet. You’ll notice the difference in air quality almost immediately and be impressed by just how much this fresh air concierge can do. We believe this model is best for allergies.
This model comes with 5 stages of filtration that includes an optional ionizer. And when set on Auto-Mode, it will adjust fan speed based on your current air quality. The quality is also available on the touchscreen panel via a color spectrum, with red being poor, yellow being not great, and green being ideal.
Some of the Hathaspace reviews we read were skeptical about the accuracy of this air quality testing, but leave it to my six-year-old daughter to get to the bottom of whether or not it’s real. Upon learning what the different colors meant, she began putting smelly things in front of the HSP001 to see if the colors would change. And they did! Usually within 20-30 seconds, we would see a shift in the air quality from green to yellow, and the fan speed would automatically kick up a notch.
Many customers purchase this model for its sleek design, but what will really impress you is how extremely quiet it is. With a decibel rating of just 21 on the lowest setting (when air quality is green), you won’t even know it’s on.

Brand new from Hathaspace is the HSP002, the best Hathaspace air purifier for large areas. Perfect for up to 1500 square feet, the 2.0 is an excellent addition to family rooms, basements, open living floorplans, and apartments. And if you think that an air purifier that covers this much space would be too cumbersome to move around as needed, think again. The 2.0 weighs a mere 25 lbs.

Like the previous model, this compact Hathaspace air purifier has five levels of filtration. But as an upgrade, this model features an H13 medical grade HEPA filter, which is the same type you will find in many hospitals.
The HSP002 is the first Hathaspace model to be Energy Star certified – something we don’t see a lot of on air purifiers! You can feel comfortable leaving this machine on 24/7 to clean your space, just as you would leave on a furnace or air conditioner. And while it’s slightly noisier than the HSP001, the sound is still moderate (comparable to a tableside fan).
This model leaves behind both the ionizer and the remote control that are included with the HSP001; however, we don’t feel that bothered by it. The company backs this product with a 5 year warranty and outstanding 24/7 customer service.
Our only complaint with this air purifier is that some customers are (rightfully) confused by its “smart” label. While it does sense air quality, it is not WiFi compatible in any way.
